Nothing like  a cool smoothie to replace a hot meal on a sweltering summer day! This is one that I am all out addicted to. It is vegan with no added sugar. Tasting is believing.


2 ice cubes

1/2 frozen banana (I peel bananas and break them in half before freezing)

1/2 cups coconut water

1 medium-sized kale leaf, spine removed

1 closed handful raw pecans

5-7 strawberries, green end removed (strawberries are optional, only use when in season)


Method: Add ice and frozen banana to blender and blend until crushed. Then add coconut water and kale and blend until smoth 1-2 minutes. drink it immediately while cold. Unforgetable.
